About this event
Join local children’s picture book author-illustrator, Jenifer Tull-Gauger, as she shares a reading from her newly released sixth book in her children’s picture book series; Dojo Kun Character Books. The author will read The Calm View Karate Kid: A Dojo Kun Character Book on Cooling Anger . Jenifer will also share about the Hakugin-do monument Itoman, Okinawa, Japan.
The legend of the monument, about a samurai with anger issues, inspired the plot of the book. She will show pictures from her visit to the monument and will also share the original legend. Light refreshments will be provided to celebrate this debut reading.

The books are geared toward children ages 5 to 10, but all ages are encouraged to join (children under 14 with a parent or guardian). Registration is required.
